Religion What is your take on religion? Do you base your thoughts in life according to your religion? Do you feel that religion should be kept out of Government and Politics?

Since JayD sees how it is:
If God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son,

if death is an enemy of God,

if it is His will none should perish,

if every knee shall bow, every tongue confess He is Lord,

if Jesus be lifted up, and He was, He would draw all men to Himself,

if in Adam ALL die and in Christ ALL live,

if Christ is all in ALL,

if He died once for ALL

if God was reconciling the world to Himself,

if God has declared His will for the total redemption of ALL humanity,

and

If God has accomplished this by the obedience of His Son, Jesus Christ,

If He is Lord of ALL, then where...what corner of the distant stars, far and away from this universe will He not be Lord? Will He not be present?

If it is His will that none should perish, and if we ask anything according to His will, it is a done deal, then what ?

If the promise that our prayers, as we pray for the salvation of all be shorted the fruition of the prayers and ministry of reconciliation, what is that?

Doesn't an eternal torment smack of Christ's total work being short?

If when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

And if it is a victory, how be it that any be excluded? A salvation full, free and to the glory of God who so loved this world, and the Lamb that takes away the sin of the world, and again to God reconciling the world to Himself!

And if a portion of worshippers would be mingling praise with painful cries, somehow lifted to heaven's heights on some mysterious inter-galactic intercom system would all eternity be forever grievous to our great and Eternal Refuge ?

Would our Omnipotent God even be able to hear the worship swelling in hell, since He would not be there?

And how is it that for all eternity God would be absent from any place at all?
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. But Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, AND FOREVER!

And what occurs when we believe at all?

Does something happen, do we make something happen by our faith?

Or do we rest in what Jesus already accomplished?

Is believing a work or a resting in grace that has been revealed?

Where are the stops on grace, matchless and free?

My heart says we can no more limit God's grace than we can limit the word all, excuse the word none with some.

And from the many Scriptures cited and a confidence that God is love, I joy to believe in His unlimited grace.

God made a man of dust of the ground. Breath into his nostrils and made him a living soul. God called him Adam.

A thought for you OhDear, Adam did not know Eve came from him. He was asleep when God took her out of him. He awoke and his heart said, "WOW!"

So the first Adam was asleep, awoke to find this beauty and had no clue she was always a part of him. Just a thought to ponder on for awhile.

Many still sleep in the dust of the earth.

If you take that a bit farther and consider that God is a spirit and we are to walk in the spirit. If we look at it in the spirit of that was given by God, each has an Eve (church) in them. Because some are still sleeping we walk as lightly as possible when we can as to not disturb their sleep.

Wow.
Did you hear that at a wedding?

Because that's the type of stuff (especially phrasing) that NEEDS to go into a Christian wedding. Pure poetry.

Let me first say, I would love for it to be the truth. In fact, the thought of so many burning in hell, at one time, almost turned me off to the whole thing. If theres one thing God has put in me, its a will that no man should parish. And being called on here more than once "the preacher man", I think you all know that to be true. At least I hope so. But the same place you get these ideas from, is the same place that says hell is very real, and most people are going there. For EVER. I think it sucks, I think its a raw deal, but I believe his word. Thats all I have to say.

I also believe His Word Jay. So when Jesus said He came for "ALL" I have to consider "ALL" is what He meant.

Hell defined in the Word of God is seperation from God. God is pure love. If we walk with Him we walk in love knowing He came for each and everyone.

Another thought for the day, Eve, the mother of all living.

The dogs live outside the gate. Since this is not Heaven then we must most definitely be living amongst the dogs. Woof, woof.

He also said wide is the path to hell, and most are going that way. Narrow and hard to follow is the path to salvation. BTW he didnt say he came for all. He said he came for all who would believe him. To go around telling people they are going to heaven no matter what they do is leading astray.

See bro, you understand the bible clearly states there is a Hell. You know that he said most people are going there. But you still think everyone is going to heaven? You cant take out of the bible what you want to believe and just throw out the rest.

Jesus says-

33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
