Basicaly I felt God was telling me he need not explain anything to me. At that time I decided I wanted nothing more to do with a God who could do that to people. Whats crazy is, its not that I no longer believed (I had already seen to much of him to doubt his existance), I just didnt care anymore. Thankfully through his grace and mercy, He brought me back to the flock, (fullfilling his promise, that he is the good sheperd, and will leave the other sheep on the hill, to go after the one thats lost)I still have trouble contemplating hell, and why he would do such a thing, but I realize now that his ways are higher than my ways. Theres nothing I can do about it either way. So now I just plan to endure till the end, as he has commanded us to do. Understanding will be in full, on the day of judgment. I pray everyday that im on the right side of the fence come that day.
So...you accept it because god told you not to think about it? Doesn't something like that deserve explanation. If there's an afterlife, I'm confident people are just as able to repent and be forgiven as with this life.

Exclusively for Jay:
Through your pride you are obviously blinded to what I did actually say.
Take heed to your own words Jay and examine yourself before examining others you obviously do not know. Pull that plank out of your eye for you can see.
Put a few rocks in a box and keep them shaking and rolling against each other eventually they will polish each other.

Let me supply you with a link that addresses hell and other issues that you might want to look at again and for the first time. Since you were only posting for 'the others' to read and not for me, I feel it best if I just give you a link rather than to personally write a reply.
Or for the "crowd" too...

No, not really. its not that I accept it, but more I accept him, and understand he owes me nothing, and I owe him everything.

No. Does the clay deserve an explanation as to why it was made a pot? or a bowl?

Were does this confidence come from?

According to the bible He gave us the world, life, laws, etc. The one thing he owes us is explanation. If anything it will strengthen people's faith

Nobody is eternally tormented by pottery, and so that's irrelevant. Something as incredibly important as eternity warrants explanation, not excuses.

Human nature is human nature regardless of the form of humanity. We have the capacity to forgive, hold grudges, remain wicked, or reform ourselves, should we wish to do any of the such. The whole idea of purgatory is based on that principle, that people can enter heaven after a long time repenting in a place separated from it, even after death.

Well you ask him for one, cause I dont see him handing any out. Good luck with that.

Thats true, however your existance is a figment of his imagination. Trust, no matter how you feel about it, he owes you nothing.

Im not catholic, I dont believe in purgatory. Nor is it biblical.

Which exact phrase do you wish to discuss Jay?
Is hell real? sure it is, I said the definition of Hell in the Bible is seperation from God.

I also said, He came for All. In another statement I said except that son of perdition.

What part of those statements are confusing to you?

Also please keep the post short I could have an attention deficit.

Real quick here...
This is just what I am thinking that my heart is showing me to believe about any kinda punishment at all when we leave time to be with our Eternal God and refuge:
Thess. 5:23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and
through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the
coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it!
I just do believe that God does not send us to a place to be sanctified
ever, rather he brings us to Himself!!!
Would that be the same always?
It is like I always told my kids, in Psalm 139 it says where can we go from
His presence? Now that is both comforting and sobering.
So again, from this awesome verse in Thess. Jesus is all sufficient to do it! And so our ever present
Lord who does promise to be with us always does sanctifiy us through and
through.
He does not send us to a place to be sanctified, He does bring us
before Him and in that encounter we are sanctified. At least that is what I think.
Is it not so, that if any need further sanctification on the other side of
time, He does it! In His glory, He does not leave us, yet in His glory is it
not that glory itself that does the work ever? Jesus was the One perfect sacrifice that was severed from the presence of God...done once and for all.
His radiance radiates! He is MORE than enough and has made us MORE than conquerors.
Hhmmm, some sweet eternal day, will all be overtaken by His beautiful face? Yes!!! When all mankind will know His face, His presence beaming irresistably so. God is both heaven and hell, and altogether lovely and gloriously shining.

He is the consumming fire, and when all come to him, that which is an affront to his will, to his perfect love and righteousness, to his justice will be consumed! All that will be left is in each of us and corporately, the perfect Man created in His image.
It would be totally unjust of God to not give to Christ that which He came to effect, the reconciliation of ALL mankind, even as it was God in Christ reconciling The World to Himself!
Jesus deserves ALL! Anything less, is a disregard for the total and monumental work of Christ!

Dear JayD,

What posts have I ignored by you? It truly would not have been intentional...

I hope you enjoy that site, I found it after making some heartfelt conclusions about salvation a few years back. It was wonderful for me to discover others had seen the same glories of Christ's total victory of saving everyone!

It seems God has always shown us to not be wasteful, to use charred stones to build a temple, to gather up the leftovers at a big picnic, and to never discount His work in a fellow human being...

Do not, JayD, do not turn faith into a work, and then say one is saved by grace. There is only one faith that is at all. And that is the faith OF God...and He is the one of which it is said: Salvation belongs to Our God.

It all belongs to Him. We all belong to Him.

Selah.
