You don't have to believe in it, but you don't have to discredit it. That is mainly what makes the right hate the left so much, they try to turn Christianity into some kind of a joke.
Christinanity turns itself into a joke. I mean honestly, how can you believe in such fairy tales? If Jesus could turn water into wine he'd have been the life of the party...
You don't have to believe it, but you don't have to offend people by calling it a joke. I never attack someone elses relgion, even when I think it is ridiculous. I might think athiest are crazy, but I never tell them that they are wrong.
I think both religious people and athiests are crazy and liars. Why hold a belief about something that a human can never know the answer to?
Its called faith.

There are many things you cannot know the answer to, but you believe anyways. I see nothing wrong with faith, it gives people hope. I see something wrong with religious extremism. Throughout history it can tell you how horrible these religious extremist are.

I think faith is a crock of shit that is dangerous to the fabric of reality.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

I think faith in the unknown is a crock of shit that is dangerous to the fabric of reality. I do have faith though, in my family, friends and brothers-in-arms...

Good point. That is what I intended to say, but your version makes it that much more clear.

I think that Aquinas described it best. Faith is truth without reason.
But it don't take much to get me by
So just booze me up and get me high

Did you ever stop to think that those in power would like to try to fulfill biblical prophecy? That they would make the events, as predicted, occur.

The ultimate conspiracy theory.

Justified by biblical prophecy.

Freaky, huh?

Aquinas also said that women are naturally subservient to men, and slavery is a-OK.

I hate St. Thomas Aquinas.
