If it is the source for all truth, there must have been no truth before the bible was written. Also, math cannot be true since its source is not the bible.

If you'd like (and if you're nice), I'll try to find some instances where the Bible has been proven absolutely correct. If the world had paid close attention, they would have known the earth was round waaaay before they did.

No human can know what God wants or even if God exists, that is why there is absolutely NO truth in your statement. If you claim to know this information you are a liar. The world doesn't need the kind of dishonesty you want to inject.

The problem is we don't know who is blind or who can see. Maybe you are the blind one who simply cannot see that god is real. I can turn this whole position by saying "You just need to have faith that God is not real and you will be able to see the truth." See why "faith", while it may bring comfort to some, will never be proof of anything?

I know God is real because I know He's real. Do you know who you are? Or do you know who your mother is? I know God is real. You can't know that unless you've had an experience with Him. Because you haven't experienced the "realness" of God, but can you say I haven't?

Actually, you can believe anything you want. The younger generation, for example, believe that truth is not absolute. I happen to believe that it is. You can believe that the sun came up this morning in the west, but in reality, it really came up in the east. There are some people who believe lies they've been told about one thing or another because that is what they want to believe. But when you decide you want truth at all cost, then you will receive the truth.

Faith and knowing are two different things. You have faith that when you flip the light switch, a light will come on. When the light comes on, THEN you know because the room is now light. Is it faith now? No. Now you can say with assurity that what you had faith in you now believe. Personally, I don't like the usage of the word "faith". "My faith this or "my faith that". Faith is believing something to be true before you've received the affirmation that it is indeed so.

Faith is believing that something that 'isn't' will be, or in the case of God, that He is. But when you know, you know. Knowing is the reward of faith. God rewards those who come to Him with a belief that He is. It only stands to reason that He wouldn't reward those who don't believe He exists...don't you agree?

People who don't believe are like the man who went to a 3-D movie and refused the glasses offered to him, saying he didn't need them as his sight is 20-20, then complains during the movie that "everything is blurry and this is a stupid movie". But those who have the special glasses aren't complaining, they see things just fine. The difference is he thought he could watch the movie without the glasses. The same is true for those who don't believe. They think everyone who believes lying (or just plain stupid), when in fact, it is they who lack the important ingredient.

What it sums up to, newnoise, is that you doubt what I say because you can't see. It's called "spiritual blindness". The "natural man" (that's you) cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God: it is foolishness to you (is that not so?): neither can you know, because you are spiritually discerned.

Please don't interpret this that I am trying to "convert" you. That isn't my place. I'm simply explaining to you "where I'm coming from" and what I know to be so.
