Religion What is your take on religion? Do you base your thoughts in life according to your religion? Do you feel that religion should be kept out of Government and Politics?

I suppose we'll have to watch them being abducted by radical Muslims on CNN 24 hours a day.

Aren't there enough hungry to feed here in the U.S.?

Wow, your a sick person. You claim to be a Christian, knowing Jesus is the way the truth and the light. Yet your "annoyed" That people are finding the only path to salvation? You need a check up, from the neck up.

Well Jesus doesnt need your approval. And thank God for it.

Quite simply because they are not satisfied with what they have.

Can you blame them? When I found the truth, I held strong to it as well.

Someone explain to me why we have one Jesus and about 20 versions of the Christian church?
Many Churches, especialy catholics, no longer endure sound doctrine. Thats why so many branches of Christianity were formed.

Why there are about four different Jewish sects? And why there are a bunch of different Muslim sects.

I cant speak for them
Why can't there be just one Christianity like Anglicans (that's where I started). Why do we need Baptists, Catholics, Lutherans etc and then a whole bunch of born again "happy clappers".
WHOSE GOD IS IT ANYWAY?

I myself, dont go down the denomination road. Believe in Jesus with all your heart. Have a constant relationship with him. "for if 2 or more come together in my name, then that is a temple, and surly I dwell among you."

Ok, so explain to me how there can be 2, or more true faiths? Especialy when everyone says something totaly different. And dont tell me there is no true faith, cause as a athiest, you have more faith than I do.

I'm not judging. I'm observing, and making comments on the obvious conclusions.

Besides, you need to give me some quote to back up your claim that the bible says nobody is to be judgmental.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

That's by no means the only thing that's SICK about Trista.

Here's a guy who goes out of his way to LIE to the American Red Cross, so that he can give blood, despite his being involved in homosexual sex. In so doing, he's putting innocent lives at risk.

But he doesn't consider that lying. He doesn't consider that wrong. He considers it to be the highest form of "civil disobedience."

Most people are observant enough to not only say that that behavior isn't very Christian, but is just down-right sick and wrong.

Unless I'm mistaken, I think that a LOT of the different churches that fall under the category of "christian" are different and separate for cultural and language reasons.

A friend of mine, who is a black lady, goes to a United Methodist Church. An all black church, but she says they have the same doctrine as any other Methodist church - but with some good soul music. Makes sense to me.

Where I used to live, there was a Lutheran church that had their services in German up until very recently. I don't know for sure, but I think what had them separate is just the fact that they were German immigrants. Makes sense to me.

That's not saying there aren't stupid divisions in christianity. I think there are. But unless I'm missing something, the Lutherans are not waging civil war on the Methodists, like the Sunnis are warring against the Shi'ites of the Muslim religion.

Remember Christianity is not a pacifist religion, Jesus said "I bring you the sword"
Religion is the most dangerous thing and is the reason for more deaths than any wars.
"Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition"
I think if you are going to quote Christ, you do the honorable thing and put the entire quote in context. If you don't, you are spreading untruth.

Who started Christianity? Have you figured that one out yet?
