Sounds like a contradiction in terms, same as "undocumented worker" or "gay marriage"
It is putting the shoe on the other foot. And documented or not many people feel we should kick all immigrants out and or severly restrict their freedoms here. How would you feel if people voted to limit your rights here as an immigrant to employment, healthcare, etc? And many people would vote limit your rights.

Nope. Because I am here legally.

My question was about the rights of "undocumented workers".

I was replying to garysher. I have been down the nudist, handicapped parking, gambling, heroin, alcohol sales on Sunday arguments with garysher before...And quite frankly they are more boring than repetitive cut and pastes from Family Research Council. His sophistry makes a sophomore look like a genius.

My point in my posting here today is while he is willing to put the rights of some, homosexuals, up to a vote he is not willing to put his own as an immigrant up to a vote. IOW he is two faced.

I don't mind that at all.

Of course if the EU took reprisal steps against US immigrants in EUrope the results could be devastating

I don't think it's going to happen.

And you comparison is odious.

Uhhhmmm immigrants come from all over the world. If a vote were taken on immigrants rights it would apply to all not just the EU countries. So don't take it personally sparky.

For the record I'm against voting on rights.

"And you comparison is odious.[/"

Why? Because it could possibily affect you? Sheeesh gar you sure can dish it out but you sure can not take it.

No

Because immigrant rights have nothing to do with the redefinition of marriage to accommodate homosexuals
