When federal grants became available to those who applied for funds to study almost anything. There is no established criterion on what the government may or may not fund. I do not believe-personally- the government should involve itself in religion. I do believe in the seperation of church and state.

But this is hardly a study, it's not even based on reality. It's based on a presupposition of the inerrant nature of a book written by men in ancient times. It's a bunch of nonsense.

Yeah, I keep telling people that they might as well beleve the Odyssey because it has passages referring to historical events like the Fall of Troy.

Preacherman, one of the reasons the ToE is widely accepted is because it openly states that we have no idea how life started. The reason Creation is not widely accepted is because it touts that we know exactly how life started, and we don't.
