When federal grants became available to those who applied for funds to study almost anything. There is no established criterion on what the government may or may not fund. I do not believe-personally- the government should involve itself in religion. I do believe in the seperation of church and state.

But this is hardly a study, it's not even based on reality. It's based on a presupposition of the inerrant nature of a book written by men in ancient times. It's a bunch of nonsense.
