"“Does Carbon-14 disprove the Bible?” The answer: “When a scientist’s interpretation of data does not match the clear meaning of the text in the Bible, we should never reinterpret the Bible. God knows just what he meant to say, and His understanding of science is infallible, whereas ours is fallible.”"

This is a horrifying example of the sort of non-sense we should not allow to be taught in schools... Or to children at all if you ask me... This is going to propel our descent into being a third-world country. How can we ever excel at science and engineering if we were to teach such hog-wash?

Some of the stated statistics are scary, because I fear they are true, demonstrating a huge failure in the American School system...

"A NEWSWEEK poll conducted last month found that 39 percent of those surveyed felt that the theory of evolution was “not well-supported” by evidence. Last year, a Pew Research Center poll found that 58 percent of those interviewed support the idea of teaching creationism along with evolution in schools."

Terrifying...

What is just as funny is this quote:

In an interview, he recalls how, when he was first taught evolution in school at the age of 13, he asked his father—a dedicated Christian—about “those ape men.” “If you don’t believe in Genesis,” his father told him, “then the whole rest of the Bible falls.”

What his father told him is true... However, they had an irrational reaction, rather than doing the reasonable thing, supported by fact, and dump the Bible (recognizing it as a nice book of Mythology), they chose to dump the truth and keep the Mythology! Ha!
Or another way to put it, they threw the baby out with the bathwater....

Oh yeah. That was weird. Then again, when isn't creationism NOT on the odd side?

I very much do not understand how this place could be called a museum, since it cannot be displaying any sort of artifact. I feel like it will be more of a place for Creationists to look down upon evolution and believers of evolution. In other words, I have no intention of visiting this museum.
