Buddhist Thought of the Day
The Void is not of the nature of a black abyss or a bottomless pit. Rather is its nature 'vast and expansive like space itself'. It is apprehended as 'serene, marvelous, all-pure, brilliant and all-inclusive'. Above all does it partake of the nature of light. And it is not anything. For Void is Mind Itself, and Mind Itself is Void. - Ask the Awakened by Wei Wu Wei...

It always tickles me how Buddhism answers all questions at once without answering any.

Still, that's how most of my Buddhist conversations with Yoji go. He asks me a question, and ultimately it comes down to 'Well it is. Of course it is also not, whilst being neither and all at once.'

It's very relaxing really. Buddhism is simple. It's all about balance and walking the Middle Path of life. When all things are in balance, everything becomes clear.

I prefer being Buddhish.

Yoji is far more into it than me, although I do have 18 Buddhas and a giant one tattooed on my back.

It's not finished, so no real ones, but the original pic is this. I made a few changes, and a friend is going to add his own stuff to it. He is the best tattoiost I have honestly ever seen.

That is very nice... although the Buddha looks kind of evil, not very serene...
