My ex-brother-in-law and his dad are graduates of the Naval Academy. They went on to have long careers in the Navy.

When a boy or a girl is appointed by a congressman or other federal elected official, they are sending the best and the brightest minds to the service academies.

In no way are they dumb. If they saw dumb people in the military, do you really think that those people would be put on the battlefield and be used as shooting targets?
