I can honestly say that I have no desire to be a moderator at this time. I also VERY happy to see HW80 get that status since he is probably one of the nicest posters here. I don't know HIO as well, but expect RHS wouldn't have promoted him if he didn't deserve it.

Yep highway is a nice guy, about as inoffensive as any poster can be. And I admire the fact he donates lots of blood and platelets (whatever they are).

As for Hio, I assume he must have aced the interview or bribed RHS!

True. It saved my life. I had a blood disorder in which my body would destroy its own blood platlets before they could cause clotting. I had my spleen removed and it still did no good. I received platlets everyday for the three weeks I was in the hospital. I was finally cured with chemotherapy.

Three weeks!? Wow!! Was that to keep you alive until chemo was used? Or was chemo used as a last resort? I'm up to 11 gallons and 4 pints since my last donation, PN. I won't stop until whatever reason forces me to stop.
