It figures that what I posted would be taken the wrong way. I'm not suggesting changing any rules here. I am only saying that many Europeans will get instantly turned off by such rules because they don't embrace political correctness like we do here. Therefore, this respresents an impendament to a global forum.

The typical Aussie will get banned inside 5 posts. A typical Brit might take a bit longer.

I post on another board where over 50% of the posters are Brits. and another significant portion are Aussies or Europeans.

The rules there make DTT look like a free-for-all and yet -- to my knowledge- no Aussie has ever been banned and only one Brit has ever been banned.

Well since 'many' and not all Europeans would get turned off by our rules and political correctness that still leaves others to come and join our site. Therefore, doesnt represent an impendament to a global Forum.
Does it state somewhere that a certain amount of people from each country join a site for it to be recognized as global..nope..if its just 1 person from every country that visits this site...it would be considered global. Its quality(number of countries) over quanity(number of people).

Don't take this as anything derogatory. I hope this forum becomes more global in nature. I just see some cultural issues that might limit that goal.
