Should We Display Infractions?
Solon brought up a great idea, which I think might lessen the instances of those people who constantly PM the moderators with messages like "why did I get an infraction, and 'whoever' didn't?", He suggests that perhaps we could display each persons number of infractions on the side bar, like we display the post count. Furthermore, we may even want to display the number of times people have been banned. I think this could not only provide incentive to not be banned, but it could help people see that we (the moderators) are actually taking action. Furthermore, it will make the moderators accountable to the public we serve.

So, does this sound good?

RHS, is this possible?

Sounds like a good idea.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour

so everybody can't see infractions when they go to someones profile?

I assumed it was already public info.

I don't know if it is... But it would be more obvious on the side-bar

It kind of seems like a negative reenforcement thing to me. Is there something ya'll could do on a more positive reenforcement side?

Put it this way...No it wouldn't be a good idea. Because those that make it a habit of creating problems will have one more thing to gripe about if they feel that someone else's warning bar is lower then theirs. It would be added in with their complaints that they are currently using in regards to warnings and punishments. It would end up more a headache for ya'll then ya'll already have in that area.
