I agree again. I think there should be a free market system of education, where the government money follows the student, not the school.

Then you should be for vouchers. The democrats are against them because it would weaken the unions who are a democratic voting block. It's impossible to fire an incompetent teacher because that person is a democratic vote.

Show me the "millions" of Christians who are joyous over middle-east violence.

PROVE it.

This "vouchers" crap is ridiculous.
You ARE CHOOSING to shop somewhere else, so don't expect to use your wal-mart coupon at k-mart.

Personally, I would have no problem with giving more capability to fire incompetent teachers.
Does that make me a Republican?

Simple.

You don't understand the Educational Vouchers program/potential.

Your utterly stupid statements about it prove that. It is NOT like taking WalMart coupons into KMart.

It is about FREEDOM OF CHOICE. It's about parents choosing which public or private school they want their kids to attend. Why are you so pro-choice when it comes to killing babies, but anti-choice when it comes to education?

Yes. It is.
Different systems with different means.
You taking your child to another school MEANS NOTHING about the taxes that you pay in general.

WHY should YOU be able to get some of your school tax money back for taking your kid some place else, while the guy with NO KID, me, STILL HAS TO PAY tax money to support our public schools.
If YOU get a voucher for not having your kid in public schools, then I damn well better get a voucher for not having ANY kid in public schools.

You are free to choose.
If you choose to eat at a place that doesn't take food stamps, then don't whine about the food stamps.
YOU CHOSE private school.
Why should the rest of us have to give you special privileges for YOUR choice?

Apples and oranges.
And more to the point, nobody is saying you can't take your kids to private school.
It's just that you can't take your money from the PUBLIC school in order to do so.

I never said millions of Christians are joyous over middle-east violence. You did. There you go again, putting words in my mouth.

There are millions of Christians joyed BECAUSE the violence in the Middle East THEY BELIEVE means that the end is near and they will be with God. That is why they are joyous.

Now like I tell the others here, if you don't understand that, have your mommy explain it to you or else find an adult.

No, you do not get a tax rebate. You still have to support your liberal friends to indoctrinate kids with your agenda. You still want gay marriage don't you? If you don't fund the indoctrination by public schools of the next generation then you will not have it. If you want it, then you have to pay for it.
