You responded with: "Actually, it is not a small minority of Chrstians. There a millions in this country alone."

Should I just take it as read that ANYTHING you say in response to my posts will not actually be a response to anything I actually said?

Same difference.
They are joyous over Middle East violence.

Now, getting back to this proof thingie.
PROVE what you just said.

I thought you believe in choice? Why do you believe in choice for abortion but not for education? There's a word for that.

This is America. I have a right to choose my child's education. Just because I pay taxes to the state, the state does not have the right to force me to send my child to their school. My child and my child's education is my choice, not yours.

WHY should YOU be able to get some of your school tax money back for taking your kid some place else, while the guy with NO KID, me, STILL HAS TO PAY tax money to support our public schools.
If YOU get a voucher for not having your kid in public schools, then I damn well better get a voucher for not having ANY kid in public schools.

You are free to choose.
If you choose to eat at a place that doesn't take food stamps, then don't whine about the food stamps.
YOU CHOSE private school.
Why should the rest of us have to give you special privileges for YOUR choice?

Apples and oranges.
And more to the point, nobody is saying you can't take your kids to private school.
It's just that you can't take your money from the PUBLIC school in order to do so.

Good lord, you just DON'T get it, do you!?!?!

Why not just admit, up front, that you don't know JACK SQUAT about the whole school voucher thing.

1. EVERYBODY pays for "free" public education. Everybody. Regardless of whether or not you have kids, if you are a property owner you pay for public education. If you rent, you pay it through your land-lord. It's part of the property tax system. I am paying just as much now, in property taxes to our local school, as I was when I had 3 kids in school. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR THICK HEAD.

2. The voucher system DOES NOT PUT MONEY BACK IN THE POCKETS OF PARENTS. The voucher money would follow students to whatever school they attend - beit public, parochial or private.

3. The voucher system allows parents the choice of which school they want their kids to attend, regardless of whether it's parochial, private or public. This creates competition. The schools that have the best programs get more students, and thus, more money. Kids are NOT STUCK IN SUCKY SCHOOLS where the administration and teachers don't give a crap. This is primarily of value to children in poor areas, and kids of underpriveleged parents. It's VERY simple to understand.

YOU HAVE TO QUESTION WHY THE NATIONAL EDUCATION ASSOCIATION IS SO OPPOSED TO SCHOOL VOUCHERS. Actually, no, you don't. The very fact that the NEA is opposed to school vouchers means that they would be GREAT for education in America!

Get this through your thick skull: PARENTS DO NOT GET VOUCHER MONEY. THE VOUCHERS GO TO THE SCHOOLS WHERE KIDS ARE ATTENDING.

I believe in choice. I believe people should have the choice for whether or not they send their kids to private or public schools.
THAT is their choice.

Nobody is denying you that choice.

Maybe if somebody had thought more about their choices on educating you, you wouldn't need that explained to you repeatedly.

All you have to do is talk to a fundamental Christian. They all over the place. Don't you know any?

Why do you wish to limit people's choice of public school? Can you answer that without an insult or is that too difficult for you when you're getting you ass handed to you day after day after day?
