I have talked to six Christians about this. NONE of them had heard of ANY type of behavior / reaction like that. All of them thought it bizarre.

You have yet to prove your claims of "millions"...

"fundamental" is the key word here. Go to the Assemblies of God, Foursquare, nondenominational pentecostals, Baptists. Find one of them of which there are millions all over the world.

Again, PROVE that they behave as you claim.
Enough of your stupid claims.
Supply PROOF.

We disagree.

Now, PROVE YOUR CLAIM.
Prove your claim that: "There are millions of Christians joyed BECAUSE the violence in the Middle East THEY BELIEVE means that the end is near and they will be with God. That is why they are joyous."
All you have to do is Google up the phrase "dispensational premillenialism". Very simple.

These are people who hold to the view that everything happening in Israel is divinely directed by God Himself. They believe that this skirmish can/will lead to Armaggedon, which will lead directly to the Rapture and the end of the world - which will lead to heaven. THAT is why they wish for it, and why they say such things as "Maranatha!".

Alias is right.
You are wrong.

Scratch that. Forgot how dense you can be...

Two scenarios. See if you can see who has what amount of money at the end.

Scenario A) Kid goes to private school with no vouchers.
Parent pays private school $X in tuition.
School receives $X in tuition from parent.

Scenario B) Kid goes to private school WITH vouchers.
Voucher is for $Z.
Parent pays private school $X - $Z in tuition.
School receives $X - $Z in tuition from parent, and $Z from government. (Total of $X for those who need a push.)

Parent has $Z dollars MORE in the pocket in scenario B) over scenario A).
School gets $X dollars REGARDLESS of the presence of vouchers.

Now explain to me again how it isn't the PARENTS who benefit from this???

I just did. Go ask one. Then you'll have your proof. Are you crippled? I mean physically. We already know about you mentally.

You ARE NOT proving anything.
You're asking ME to find the proof when you tell me to "go ask one".

Let's see if you can get this through that thick skull of yours.

Parents get to choose which school they send their kids to - private, parochial or public - whichever school is best.

Parents pay the same amount, regardless of where their kids go to school, because of the voucher system.

The best schools attract the most students, and receive the most voucher money. The sucky schools either clean up their act or go broke.

It's very simple. It's very effective. EVERYBODY WINS except the sucky schools that won't clean up their act. And those are precisely the schools that SHOULD be closed.

Oh man. I guess I didn't understand that parents currently CANNOT CHOOSE to send their kids to private schools.
I thought they COULD CURRENTLY CHOOSE to send kids to private schools.

So these private schools are currently running with NO kids in them, right?
Because parents cannot CURRENTLY CHOOSE to send their kids to them, right?

< end sarcasm >

Stop being stupid Jefferson.

Address my analysis above.
Until you do, repeating this stupid claim does not make it so.

The parents CAN CHOOSE to send their kids to a private school if they want.
It's just that if they want to CHOOSE to send their kids to something extra, like a private school, then they PAY extra.

It's just that simple.

And moreover, if parents get to pick and choose where to send their tax money for the schools to where they want because that's where their kid is going...
... then I should be able to choose my wallet to send my school tax money to.
