Because parents cannot CURRENTLY CHOOSE to send their kids to them, right?

Stop being stupid Jefferson.
.
Stop being a dumbass. Idiotic.

Parents CAN currently send their kids to private school IF they can afford to pay $500 per month tuition.

But what about the "underpriveleged kids" who are forced to go to sucky public schools because their parents can't afford private school tuition?

Don't you, a good liberal, care about the poor children?
Don't you, a good liberal, want to help poor children?
Don't you, a good liberal, want to allow children the CHOICE to go to good schools?

You're obviously a complete idiot when it comes to the issue of School Vouchers. You OBVIOUSLY have no idea what you're talking about, so you really should just quit blowing smoke out of your butt.

Help me understand something here.....

Does the school vouchers thing mean that I would be able to send my kids to private school without any money out of MY pocket?!?!?

You can turn on the TBN netword and look at fundamental Christian TV 24 hours a day. Turn on Pat Robertson. Turn on Jerry Falwell. Find out for yourself. Learn what they believe.

I thought they were just for public schools, but here is a link I got by asking Google.

Thanks I suppose I could have googled it myself (instead of looking for cheats to beat Hev in chopper challenge)

I guess I have a little reading to do.

Thanks

YES.

The reason is because the government money follows the kids to whatever school they attend.

It gives parents more CHOICES in education. This should delight liberals. Unfortunately, the biggest liberal bastion - the NEA - does NOT like school vouchers, for obvious reasons. So... blind liberals also have to hate the school voucher concept.

Bullseye. It's all about political power for liberals, not the education of the children they claim they care so much about.

Exactly.

The National Education Association is NOT primarily about education. It is, first and foremost, about teacher pay and job security. And school vouchers threaten this.

Actual education come a long ways down the list of priorities.

I think you're downright boring people.
You have effectively proven that you are incapable of an honest and intellectual debate. You focus what you want to focus on, ignoring what you please. You change the subject wantonly and quickly when you can't address something.

Maybe you can have a big discussion with this "we" you seem to think you are a part of.
As for me, echoing the sentiments of people before me, you are just obviously not worth a discussion.
